Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026
These terms describe how Harbour Source works today. We're an early-stage, cross-border sourcing service, and we'd rather be plain about how orders are handled than dress it up.
1. What Harbour Source does
Harbour Source helps homes and businesses in the Caribbean buy products from U.S. suppliers. When you place an order and pay, Harbour Source sources the items from the appropriate supplier on your behalf, ships them to our U.S. logistics point, and forwards them to the Bahamian freight hub you selected for collection.
We are not the manufacturer of the products we list. Product availability and supplier pricing are verified as part of processing your order — the catalog is not a live, real-time inventory feed.
2. Pricing and estimates
The price shown for each product is the Harbour Source selling price. Freight, duties, and taxes shown at checkout are estimates to get your order to the selected hub, and are labeled as estimates. They can vary.
We will not charge your card additional money after purchase because a supplier changed their price. If an item can no longer be fulfilled at the expected cost or availability, we will contact you and offer a substitute, a revised option, or a refund — your choice.
3. Fulfillment and collection
Orders are delivered to a Bahamian freight hub (Nassau or Freeport) for collection. The delivered price covers getting your order to the hub, cleared through customs. Collection at the hub, and any onward shipping to other islands, are arranged by you.
An order may arrive in more than one shipment if it contains items from different sources. When your order is ready for collection, we issue a unique pickup code and send collection instructions. If someone other than you will collect the order, you can tell us at checkout.
4. Duties, taxes, and import compliance
Any duties or taxes included in your total are estimates for delivery to the hub. Charges levied at the destination beyond the hub, and compliance with local import requirements, are your responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring the items you order are legal to import to your destination.
5. Prohibited and restricted items
Some items cannot be sourced or shipped across borders. Please review our Prohibited & Restricted Goods policy. If an order includes a restricted item, we will contact you to substitute or refund it.
6. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Harbour Source does not store your card details. Placing an order authorizes Harbour Source to charge the total shown at checkout.
7. Changes to these terms
As Harbour Source grows and connects deeper supplier and logistics integrations, these terms will be updated to reflect how the service actually operates. We will keep the language honest and current.
